I used to think Mia Farrow was this Angel, I was fooled for so long, like so many people were. That is until I learned of how she devastated Dory Previn, Andre Previn’s longtime wife. Farrow went after Previn with cold calculation, pretended to be Dory Previn’s best friend, brought Dory and Andre Previn gifts, came to their home for dinner, commented on how pretty their BED was, & eventually cheated with Previn, a married man. In short order, Farrow got Previn to leave his wife for her. Dory Previn was devastated and was absolutely dumped by both Previn and Farrow. She wound up having a nervous breakdown from the heartache and ended up in a mental hospital. When years later, Allen was then accused of being a pervert, Dory Previn called Allen to warn him about Farrow. She told him to be careful, that Farrow was cruel, vindictive and callous. Farrow was the typical woman scorned. She wasn’t used to being cheated on. She was used to being the cheater, and being dumped for her much younger adopted daughter put her in a rage. Of course it was not the best choice to have an affair with Farrow’s much younger adopted daughter, but that brings up another issue, and that was how Farrow treated her Asian adopted children like servants, and even physically abused them, but treated her son Ronan, who many believe is Frank Sinatra’s son, like he was a precious prince. I have no sympathy for Farrow. She played the Other Woman role and devastated Dory Previn’s life, and then she got a taste of her own medicine many years later.
To his distractors I would not use the word “hysteric”, I would say psychotic. He was totally cleared by the courts. This was the only allegation ever made against him. It makes no sense that he was accused and never anything else but this came up. He took a polygraph test at the time and Mia Farrow refused. The reason I use that word psychotic is because you can use the logic of Socrates with them and it still makes no difference. The fact of the matter is, they’re is castigating a man who is totally innocent.
Its really hard to know, because Allen is high IQ and very convincing. He’s also been a gifted writer for 40+ years – making up stories, taking bits of reality and blending them with fiction to create convincing, captivating stories. At 2:10 he’s asked about the allegations, and doesn’t say no, but sets a scene and asks hypothetically why he would do it then and there?
Of course Allen is speaking the truth. His son Moses, 14 at the time of Mia’s allegations, and in the house at the time, confirms every word. I suspect that although Mia can look quite angelic, she is what one calls “a piece of work”. A pity that Ronan and Dylan have bought her allegations lock stock and barrel. By the way: Ronan was four years old at the time. So how is he so convinced his sis knows what really happened?

I hope people who watch the HBO “story” watch this. As someone said, all you have to do to know everything about this case is read Moses Farrow’s letter. He was an eye-witness to everything and 14 years old when it all happened. For me, Allen taking a lie detector test and passing and Mia refusing is a big deal. Second, Mia’s mental health is questionable even before she found out about Allen and Soon Yi. Sorry, but If you look back at others who have had relationships with Mia, Previn, Sinatra they all had a great deal to say about her bipolar condition. Her Mother Maureen O’Hara has discussed problems and her belief that the story is not true. Her behavior on set and with other directors is also documented. She herself had an obsession with older men and this may have stemmed from situations in her own life. There was evidence that Mia and a friend concocted the original story which was that the friend saw Allen reading to Dillan while she lay back with her head on his thigh. Truth is it’s too easy to create a narrative and generate conditions necessary to make a molestation charge.
My own grandfather attempted to downplay his actions – he was my life mentor, my present father & the voice in my head. As a survival, I now have to rethink my whole world. This whole thing was intensified and catalyzed because of the investigating policeman for the case was trying to make a name for himself.

I think Allen is a creep, nor was I ever a fan of his films or anything, so I was predisposed to believing the allegations against him, but the more you think about Farrow’s story and look at her behavior, the more questionable the allegations become. I think there’s at least some reason to think that Allen might be innocent, at least where these particular allegations are concerned.

A child that grows up and still sticks to her guns about it should be heard. There should be no statute of limitations. Everyone should read Moses’ letter speaking out against the allegations made by his mother and sister. In particular he describes the crawl space that a particular event allegedly occurred between W and D, when he describes the crawl space and other elements of the story that D mentions, it is virtually impossible that it could have taken place there even though D insists that it did. We will never know the truth.
Face it, Mia’s job these last twenty years has been to keep stirring the pot with this thing. Her celebrity is now based on it. IT Was PROVEN throughTHE KIDS OWN TESTIMONY that Mia would do the following: 1) Tell the kids what the “TRUTH” was according to Mia. That if they wavered their stories they would be hit, punished physically and the boy was hit in the face multiple times/ glasses broken! 2). A movie style Script was written by guess who…the sweet, soft spoken Mia. 3). Like a movie the kids rehearsed …again and again. Practice makes perfect. Unlike a movie, no salery and errors in your lines begot severe punishment!
Seems a strange thing for Mia to write “family disgusted” on the letter. Is that something the mother of an abused child would write? I could understand, “family angered and enraged”; or “family seeking legal advice”; but “family disgusted”???? That doesn’t exactly feel like what a mother would say about her child’s abuser. Sorry.

I don’t believe that Woody molested Dylan. I think it was just something that she said, as kids often say ridiculous things. She’s an adult today and says she regrets not testifying because she was afraid, I’m not sure what to think about this. As for Woody and Soon-Yi? Well … He was wrong to have done what he did, so was she. The circumstance is strange to be sure, but … He was more at fault for that. He should have been the adult and said “I cannot do this”. Even though she was a kid, even she knew how wrong it was. But I guess it says something if they are still together all these years later. They did and still do love each other.

I don’t know if Woody is guilty or innocent, but, damn, Mia and Dylan remind me a lot of Bob and Mayella Ewell. Especially that part in Dylan’s letter addressing other celebrities- the “fine fancy gentlemen” in this case, perhaps? And, I mean, what else could Mia Farrow have gotten away with? A little help from the Corleone family? She wanted to ruin him (that Valentines Day card suggests that she was committed to ruining him), then comes this event, supposedly, and a couple weeks after Mia Farrow says she’s going to take Dylan from him…but that COULD be a coincidence, I guess…
Many people seem to use ‘Manhattan’ as an indication that Allen was obsessed with young women. But I think that’s his only film from the 70s/80s with that theme? He mostly portrays himself in relationships with older women (including in that movie). I first saw ‘Manhattan’ in the 80s, when I was 13, and never thought there was anything sinister in it. I still don’t now.

One day we will find out this was the best script he ever wrote and that Mia was playing the lead actress! This is his best movie yet. We just don’t know. All jokes aside, he feels every very uncomfortable when asked about the Soon-Yi pictures! I totally understand Mia freaking out. His affair with Soon-Yi can have caused Mia to develop heavy anxiety and paranoia. I was with a narcissist and I will never the same again.
i think mia accidentally formed a “false memory” in dylan when she was filming/questioning her. also… the 2nd therapist visit, the police questioning and the Yale team sessions helped fortify the memory permanently by forcing the child to repeat it over and over. i dont think mia or dylan are lying. this phenomenon is pretty common when interrogations are done impropperly. this was the explanation the yale team said was most probable…coaching(accidental) in combination with a child prone to imaginative though. the documentary asserting that multiple conspiracies happened in quick succession is rediculous and why our justice system shouldnt be supplanted with activism propogated through media
I believe him. Mia Farrow appears to be insane, and destroyed Allen’s relationship with his daughter and damaged and brainwashed her out of spite. You can see the pain on Allen’s face. No way he’s guilty, people condeming him, particularly after he was cleared of any wrong doing decades ago, should be ashamed of not believing in innocent until proven guilty.
The interviewer didn’t pursue the question about the naked pictures of Soon-Yi. Mr Allen got very uncomfortable at that point so he just changed the subject. I believe he’s guilty. One minute he says he was a wonderful father, the next denies being a father figure to the kids at all.. Because if he’s a father figure then sleeping with your girlfriend’s daughter is just wrong. He knows it’s wrong. He just doesn’t care.
This is a lesson on how to lie effortlessly. He conducted a polygraph not by the police but made up by his legal team. He said he never been to attic but the forensic found his hair. And later he said maybe he might be there few times. He dated a young girl soon yi. At the time when she was 10 he groomed her. There was pornographic pic of her. And Dylan farrow is still fighting for justice. I hope her best and wish she will get the justice that she deserve…
“Let’s get logical.” People having their actions questioned who tell the person to think about the events “logically” are trying to put their morality out of the question. He hadn’t defended himself as a person, he didn’t try to say what he believes what is right or wrong, he just answers the question with another question: “would any sensible person do this?” Because of course no one would, but it eludes the simple question, “would YOU do this? Why or why not?” Then all he does is state the basic facts but with such emotion to make it “his side of the story”, and then he keeps bringing up Mia’s actions towards him, acting like the sole victim of the situation. As though he did nothing to push anyone to these points of anger and irrationality. Either way, this case is one that should get people to think critically and question the law: Should a non-biological parent be able to marry their stepchild? Whether or not the parent was present/viewed as a parental figure? Whether or not the stepchild is of legal marrying age? Should these relationships be investigated, like green-card marriages (to detect grooming)? Is it legal simply because there haven’t been too many public cases for it to be questioned? All I know is that this is very close to incest, it’s entirely possible he was grooming her, and I just hate pedophiles.
He’s very articulate and very smart, the only problem ? The victim: Dylan. Is Dylan lying ? She’s a grown up woman that you can tell she has been forever marked by what happened in her childhood with this man. Why are we giving the man the benefit of the doubt? Why aren’t we believing the victim? Instead we attack Mia Farrow and try to find what’s wrong with her, while this man obviously based on his life and work, has a thing for younger women and older man. Watch his movies !
The Judge specifically stated that Mia has not coached the children–that there was no reason to believe this. I would like to see any concrete proof of the statements he is making. There is no evidence of this, no indication of testimony to this effect. If there were any death threats or a Valentine’s Day card, it all should have been brought to the attention of the police, but none of this was.

Anyone that has seen the documentary perusal this, please note; the story has changed. It went from being a singular event to ongoing sexual abuse. And not a single other person OTHER than Dylan has ever accused him of such a thing. Sorry. But it is NEVER one and done with these types of perpetrators.
